THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES WILL APPLY TO MEMBERS FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR; THE COACHES RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MAKE ALL FINAL DECISIONS ON ANY SITUATION THAT MAY ARISE.

To Tryout for the team you must live in the South Lyon/ New Hudson  School District area area. You do not need to attend SL Schools. Private Schools are welcome.

RULES & REGULATIONS:

Each member must attend all scheduled practices.  The only excuse for not attending is illness.  If you are ill more then 2 days, you must have a note from a doctor. Each girl is given 2 personal days. Personal days must be approved in advance and may not be used 2 weeks before any performance or competition. Coach must be informed when an absence is going to occur prior to the absence. Only the coach can excuse them from a practice or game. Extreme family emergencies will also be excused, death, funeral, hospitalization.

Any absence not approved prior to the practice will be determined “unexcused.”  This will result in being pulled from the next performance.

Tardiness - If you are tardy 2 times in one week you will pulled from the next performance. If you are going to be more than 5 mins late you MUST contact your coach. Coaches must know where the girls are during practice times.  It is for their safety and liability reasons.

Discuss the concerned situation with the student.
If a student reveals that she is in violation, the self-referral process will be initiated.

School administration, social worker and parents will be informed and pommer the student can get the needed help.

 7. TRY-OUTS

  •   Each pommer must try out for each new season.  No spot will be guaranteed and behavior issues will be noted for the next season.

If you make the competition team there will be practices over Holiday Break these practices are MANDATORY. You may not miss. Please consider this when trying out for the competition team. We will also have Sat practices during competition season. Competition team information will be sent out the late fall. Being on the fall team does not gaurentte you a spot for the comptition team.
