South Lyon Stars to teach younger children about the sport of Pom Pon. In addition to learning proper pom technique, the girls will learn team unity, positive sportsmanship, dedication, punctuality, and respect for themselves and others. South Lyon Stars is a Pom Club, this will be are 8th season. We are happy to have shared the LOVE of pom with so many and we can't wait to continue our journey in 2023-2024. South Lyon Stars has won many titles.

COACHING STAFF
Meredith McNamara- Stated Pomming in High School and was part of the Plymouth- Salem Rockettes from 1993-1996. Meredith then completed a Bachelors degree in accounting at the University of Michigan . In 2009, Meredith joined Stacy at Harrison High School in Farmington Hills as a co-coach. At Harrison, Meredith has won 4 Mid American Pom pon State Championships and 2 High Kick Championships. Meredith has lived in South Lyon for 16 years and has 3 children, Conner, Chloe' and Chase. She loves Coaching Pom with one of her Best Friends, traveling, shopping and reading.
Stacy Sheaffer - Started Pomming in High School she was part of the Canton Chiefettes from 1993-1997. The last 10 years Stacy has Coached at Harrison High School in Farmington Hills, MI. Stacy has won 5 Mid American State Championships and 2 High Kick Championship. Stacy has lived in South Lyon for the 8 years and has 3 children, Aiden, Isabella and Charlotte. Coach Stacy feels so lucky to do what she loves with one of her Best Friends, She also enjoys working out , cooking and going Up North to play on the Lake :).
Jenna Standfield- Jenna Joined our coaching staff in 2021. Jenna was one of our very first South Lyon Stars! She is a South Lyon High School Alumni Pom Member and former caption. She also competed for Atomic Pom for the last two years, while attending School Craft Community College.
We are very excited to take South Lyon Stars to the MOON!!!
